Least Cost Routing of Outgoing Calls

     A company with head-quarter offices and multiple small and home offices (SOHO) makes daily internal calls within its SOHO structure and long distance calls to contact customers located all over the world. Calls within the company's SOHO structure are charged by the telephone carrier depending on current arrangements and rates.
Least-Cost Routing is the only optimal solution to reduce call costs, as it allows the telephone system to automatically route the long distance call to the most economical telephony carrier / network, saving money on the long distance bill and reducing the employee's effort in making calls.
